Long on the drawing board, Scripps Networks' attempts to launch a Spanish-language version of its lifestyle channels finally might have taken a step toward reality. Scripps Networks president John Lansing said Monday afternoon that it was increasingly likely that a partnership with another company would lead to HGTV and Food Network programming being part of a larger Spanish-language initiative.
