  AT&T opened its first of 11 planned AT&T Experience stores, which are designed to let consumers interact with products and technologies. The stores are part of AT&T's rebranding effort as it melds the Cingular brand under its corporate moniker. The New York Times (3/13)

• Verizon rolls out E-VPLS service nationwide
  Verizon Business has launched a national Ethernet Virtual Private Line Service for enterprise customers. The E-VPLS offering is a Layer 2 service, which, according to the company, enables customers to maintain routing control. Telephony Online (3/12)

• Apple aims to bridge the gap between the Internet and TV
  Analysts view the first incarnation of Apple TV as a glimpse into the future of programming viewing, but do not expect the technology to change the industry overnight. Apple has touted its Apple TV as the type of device that can replace a DVD player. CNET (3/12)

• Swisscom makes a play for FastWeb

• Yahoo!, AT&T continue to chat up their partnership
  Fending off reports that their partnership may be in jeopardy, AT&T and Yahoo! issued a statement saying they are negotiating an extension to their broadband contract. The companies also are looking for ways to extend their partnership to the mobile space, a Yahoo! spokesman said. Yahoo!/Reuters (3/9)
