PARIS (AFX) - France Telecom said its Orange Slovensko Slovakian unit is to invest around 32 bln eur in a national fibre-optics internet network for domestic users.

It said Orange Slovensko will become the first operator in Europe to deploy a country-wide FTTH (Fibre To The Home) network serving rural as well as urban areas.
