Ericsson to deliver IP Multimedia System to Poland's Telekomunikacja Polska 03.28.07, 6:24 AM ET
STOCKHOLM (AFX) - Ericsson AB said it will provide IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) to the Polish operator Telekomunikacja Polska (TP). Under the agreement, Ericsson (nasdaq: ERIC - news - people ) will integrate the system into TP's network and provide support and maintenance until the end of 2007. 'Broadband access to the internet is one of the strategic paths of telecommunication development both for suppliers and operators,' Lars E Svensson, President of Ericsson Poland, said. 'We are pleased to be a partner to Telekommunikacja Polska and work with it to provide cutting-edge solutions for its customers,' he added.
