  • FCC to wireless: Improve emergency-call standards
    The FCC ruled Thursday that the telecom industry must improve the standards used for testing the location accuracy of wireless handsets. The wireless industry opposes a proposed community-level testing mandate, saying it may not be "technically feasible."
