Infineon purchases DSL-chip business

Infineon Technologies has announced that it will buy Texas Instruments' DSL-terminal-chipset business. The deal, which is expected to close later this summer, is expected to bolster Infineon's established portfolio of DSL products, which include ADSL/2/2+ and VDSL2 chips.
