NTT looks outside communication industry for growth
Nippon Telegraph & Telephone's new chief executive officer says he wants to expand his company's revenue from businesses outside the communications industry, including financial companies and call-center-outsourcing services. MobilePro sells CLEC business for $30 million
MobilePro Corp. has agreed to sell its CLEC division to United Systems Access Telecom, better known as USA Telephone, in a deal valued at $30 million. "Through our preferred stock position, we will have the opportunity to continue to share in the upside growth opportunity of our CLEC business going forward," USA Telephone CEO Jay Wright said.
