- Report: Telefonica faces possible EU fine
The European Commission is expected to rule Wednesday whether to impose a fine on Spain's Telefonica over competitive ADSL resale tactics, according to people close to the matter. "We hope the case will be closed without a fine because we have always acted in good faith and according to the CMT's regulations," said a Telefonica spokesman. Reuters
