Zon is an unique interactive massively multiplayer online role playing game for learning Mandarin Chinese.

By interacting in the Zon environment you will be exposed to Chinese language and cultural knowledge in a new and exciting way.  Everything that you do in the game is another chance to learn new words, phrases and cultural info about China.  Never before has learning Chinese been more fun.

The nice part about Zon is it is all browser based.  No client applications are required, so you can log in and play from school, work or home.  Zon is a persistant environment, so when you log off, the world still keeps going. 

As you progress through the game, your character graduates from the tourist class, to a resident of Zon and then finally a citizen, where you can own businesses and create new content for the world.

Where do I start?

You’ve obviously already found our website, http://EnterZon.com is the portal for everything Zon, which makes it the ideal place to start your journey in Zon.  Through the EnterZon portal you can get the latest news and updates, upgrade info and statistics from the World of Zon.

From EnterZon sign up for the Zon environment by clicking on “Register to Play”.  Enter your information and design your avatar and once that is complete you will be prompted to verify your email address.  Once verified you'll be ready to play.

Once you log in to the Zon Environment server, your avatar will show up in the Beijing International Airport.  From then on, your avatar will rejoin the world on whatever screen you were on when you logged out previously.

The airport has everything you need to get acquainted with Zon.  As you explore the airport, notice that all interaction is done by clicking on the different pieces of the world.  Even clicking on yourself allows you to modify what your avatar looks like and your password.

You’ll find a large variety of interactive objects to explore in Zon.  You can observe authentic conversation and examine the vocabulary and grammar with the language tools, engage in interactive conversations, solve puzzles, play trivia or just play the games at the arcade for fun.  There’s plenty to do and see in Zon!
